For all sporting events and most concerts, children under twenty-four months do not require a ticket to be admitted, however, they must sit on an adult’s lap and may not occupy a seat. Any child who has reached their second birthday will require a ticket to enter the arena and must occupy their ticketed seat. Please note that some shows (especially those intended for children) may have a different age policy. Any events varying from our age policy will be clearly indicated on the event listing and ticketing pages.

Maximum of two alcohol sales per person per transaction. Alcohol sales end 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to end. No alcohol is permitted in Moody Center from the outside. 
All-Gender & Family Restrooms are available on the main level, two (2) locations on the south side, and one (1) location on the north side of the arena.  
Trained service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are welcome at Moody Center. Service animals must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times, unless special circumstances exist, and are required to rest in the seating area of the guest with the disability, rather than the aisle.  
 
All other animals, pets, and wildlife are prohibited.  
Assistive Listening Devices are available and complimentary to guests for all arena events. Headsets and receivers are available to check out at the Guest Services booth on the Main Concourse.  
Autographs are not available on event days. For The University of Texas autographed item requests, please refer to the Texas Athletics autographed items policy
For the health and safety of all guests, and to expedite the entry process, Moody Center requests that guests do not bring a bag to the arena.  
 
If necessary, guests are permitted to bring a bag that fits within the following specifications:  

A CLEAR BAG POLICY is in effect to enhance existing security measures and expedite venue entry at Moody Center.  
 
Approved bags include: 
Bags that are clear plastic and do not exceed 14″ x 14″ x 6″ 
One-gallon clear resealable plastic storage bags 
Non-clear clutch bags or wallets must not exceed 5″ x 9″
x 1.5” 
 
Prohibited bags include: 
Any and all bags that do not meet the criteria above including items such as grocery totes, mesh or straw bags, duffle bags, diaper* bags, camera/binocular cases, and any other bags that arena event staff deem to not meet the clear bag policy.
*Items normally carried in a diaper bag must be placed into a clear plastic bag for entry.

Binoculars are permitted in the arena, subject to inspection at all entrances. Binocular cases are not allowed per the clear bag policy. 
Moody Center box office is located at the Southwest corner of the arena. The Box Office will open at 10am on event days.
 
The Box Office will not participate in public on sales and will not be open on non-event days.

Available at all events for nursing mothers, a breast feeding station is located between portals 9 & 10 on the Main Concourse. A Guest Services Host is located near the pod to help access and answer related questions.
Recording equipment (aside from smartphones) – for audio, image, or video recording purposes (this includes professional cameras as well as cameras with detachable lenses regardless of length) are prohibited except for those who have specifically been granted access in advance by Facility management and who possess appropriate credentials. 
 
Please note that for some concerts and special events, camera restrictions will vary, and may not be permitted for entry.  
Camping is prohibited.

Per the policies of The University of Texas at Austin, camping is strictly prohibited on University grounds including anywhere on Moody Center property.
In the event that a show cancels, Ticketmaster will be responsible for issuing refunds. Refunds are typically processed 30 days after a show is canceled.

Moody Center is a 15,000+ seat venue with the largest event floor in the nation which will allow for a more intimate experience for spectators closest to the stage.  
 
Moody Center has the capability to be transformed into a 10,000-seat venue for basketball games, providing the opportunity for Longhorns fans and students to feel a part of the game. 
Moody Center is a cashless facility. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and all major credit cards are accepted. 
There is a changing table located in the St. David’s First Aid Room on the Main Concourse outside of sections 104/105. Baby changing tables can also be found in the majority of our men’s, women’s, and family restrooms.

For the enjoyment and safety of all, the following behavior is prohibited:  

Foul or abusive language or obscene gestures towards other patrons, staff, team personnel or players. 

Intoxication or signs of impairment related to substance consumption 

Fighting, taunting, or threatening remarks or gestures 

Sitting in a location other than the guest’s ticketed seat 

Obscene or indecent messages or signs on clothing 

Any disruption to the progress of the event by the guest’s actions 

Throwing of any objects on the court/stage or in the seating bowl 

Failing to follow the instructions of Arena personnel or law enforcement personnel 

Interfering with others’ enjoyment of the game/performance 

Any violation will result in being evicted from the building with no ticket refund 

 
By entering Moody Center, you consent to your image and likeness being captured and used by Austin Arena Company LLC, and their respective partners and affiliates. Warning: Events may include the use of strobe lighting, haze, lasers and pyrotechnics.

Moody Center permits guests to wear costume masks, face paint and costumes. Costume masks must be removed for security screening, alcohol service, and when asked to do so by arena staff and management.  
 
Costumes and clothing with offensive material or language, or that appropriates or disrespects another culture, is prohibited at Moody Center events.

Moody Center strives to create a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests attending our events. For any emergency at Moody Center, including medical emergencies, notify the nearest usher or police officer. 

In the event of an emergency, listen for instructions from the public address announcer; arena ushers and law enforcement will direct you to the closest safe exit. Assist other patrons who may need your assistance. 
You can enter Moody Center at the West Entrance or the East Entrance. 
 
The main entry doors at Moody Center are all accessible to our guests with disabilities. For the convenience of our guests, one lane at each of our West & East entry doors are designated for guests with disabilities.

Escalators are located inside the West and East Entrances.
The St. David’s HealthCare First Aid station is located on main level across from the Dell Technologies Club. This station is staffed by emergency medical technicians from the City of Austin. If you are in need of medical attention, please notify the nearest usher or police officer. Arena staff are trained to call for immediate response and assistance in emergency situations. 
A Guest Services booth is located near the West Entrance on the Main Concourse and one on the H-E-B Suite Level for our Premium Members.

Moody Center officials work directly with local authorities and AccuWeather to monitor and adapt to ever-changing weather conditions. In the event of an inclement or severe weather situation, guests are directed to follow the guidance of arena personnel to ensure everyone’s safety. 
Guests may request an American Sign Language interpreter by contacting the Guest Services Department at GuestServices@moodycenteratx.com .
 
We request that guests provide advance notice at least fourteen (14) business days prior to the event date to schedule an ASL Interpreter. Requests made with less notice unfortunately do not guarantee an interpreter can be acquired.

During an event, guests can report lost items or turn in found items to our Guest Services booths located on each concourse.

A member of our team will respond to claims within one (1) to two (2) non-event, business days.

Lost valuable items (e.g. phones, keys, and wallets) that are found during Texas Athletics events inside the Moody Center are held by Fan Services the following day before being turned over to UTPD. Found clothing items or other articles that are not immediately claimed are also collected by Fan Services, but then donated near the end of the academic semester.

Please fill out the UT Lost & Found Form and Fan Services will be in touch with you as soon as possible.
Lost children should be reported to the nearest staff member or Guest Services location, one located on the Main Concourse and one on the H-E-B Suite Level.
Austin-based Academy Award winner Matthew McConaughey will act as the “Minister of Culture” of the venue, ensuring Longhorn and Austin cultures are properly represented, thus creating a fan experience that is authentic to Austin and unlike any other venue in the country.

The official Moody Center App is available for Apple and Android. For up-to-date information on upcoming shows, Moody Center news and access to tickets, make sure you turn on push and location notifications.  
To offer greater convenience and safety, mobile-only ticketing will provide contactless entry to Moody Center for all events. Your mobile phone is your ticket.  
 
For non-UT basketball events, Moody Center utilizes SafeTix mobile-only tickets. This is a rotating barcode every few seconds when accessed from the Ticketmaster App, Moody Center App, and Ticketmaster website. When saved to a patrons’ mobile apple wallet, Near Field Communication is used and a barcode is not shown. Printouts or Screenshots will not work.

Moody Foundation is a Galveston-based charitable group. The arena is named Moody Center in honor of a $130 million gift from the Moody Foundation. 
 
It is the largest gift the Moody Foundation has ever given to an organization and represents one of the largest gifts to The University of Texas. Previous local donations from the foundation include $50 million to the Moody College of Communications and $20 million to the Blanton Museum of Art.

Portals are the entryway to the sections in the arena bowl via the concourse or club, and they serve to assist fans in finding their seat location in the most efficient manner possible. 
 
Every ticket for a Moody Center event has a portal number or club, in addition to section, row and seat number. Fans are asked to enter the arena bowl at the portal listed on their ticket to minimize the number of event attendees they walk by to get to their seat. Guests can use any Moody Center entrance to be able to access their portal.

The Facility prohibits any person from using, possession, carrying, displaying, or distributing any of the following items on, at, or within the Facility, except as otherwise stated within this policy: 

Alcohol, cigarettes, tobacco products, vaporizers, and drugs (including but not limited to marijuana and products containing THC) 

Animals (unless a service animal as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act – ADA – and in accordance with Service Animal Policy) 

Artificial noisemaking devices of any kind including but not limited to whistles, air horns, or plastic horns such as vuvuzelas 

Bags, packs, and luggage that are not in compliance with the Bag Policy 

Banners, flags, flag poles, signs, or similar items 

Bottles or cans of any kind, shape, or size, regardless of material and regardless of empty or full 

Cameras (see Recording Equipment below) 

Distracting and dangerous items such as frisbees, balloons, beach balls, inflatables, laser pointers, light sticks
flashlights, or other projectiles 

Drones (UAS-Unmanned Aircraft Systems) or other model aircraft

Selfie Sticks or telescopic devices, including but not limited to tripods, bipods, monopods, camera poles, or similar devices 

Sporting equipment including but not limited to basketballs, sticks, bats, or other sports equipment 

Strollers and wagons 

Tobacco and/or smoking products, including cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vaporizers, cigars, lighters, marijuana, smokeless tobacco, and any other product, item, or device related to the consumption of tobacco or THC. 

Tools, razor blades, razor-type blades, box cutters, letter openers, or scissors 

Umbrellas 

Weapons (as defined above and in Weapons Policy – SEC-E-513), including but not limited to actual, toy, or replica: 
1. Guns, firearms, firearm components/parts, ammunition and/or gun powder 
2. Knives of any size, brass knuckles, black jacks, or kubatons 
3. Martial arts weapons, night sticks, nunchucks, billy clubs, bats, stunguns/tasers, self-defense sprays, mace, pepper spray, sticks, or poles 

Any other items deemed by the NCAA, NBA, or Facility personnel to be inappropriate, dangerous, or challenging to public safety in their league and/or Facility’s sole discretion. 

Replica, toy, or antique representations of any the above items are also prohibited.

Moody Center has a “no re-entry” policy during all events at Moody Center. Guests who exit the building during an event will not be admitted back into the event.

The Texas Longhorns Official Team Shop is located left of the main entrance to Moody Center off of Robert Dedman Drive near the West Entrance on the Dell Technologies Plaza.
 
All merchandise transactions will be contactless and cashless. 
 
Fans can purchase official Texas Longhorns licensed merchandise online at Shop.TexasSports.com at any time. 
Guests who use rideshare options to travel to and from Moody Center can have their rideshare drop-off and pick-up on northeast side of Moody Center on Clyde Littlefield/Manor Rd and Red River.

ADA Drop-Off: A passenger drop-off point is available at the Member/ADA drop-off location. Set pickup location as “Clyde Littlefield Rd. & Red River St.” Message the driver to inform police they are picking up for Member/ADA.
Per University of Texas Regents’ Rules (Chapter VI, Section 6): The resale of athletics and event tickets, for any amount of money, on a University of Texas property, constitutes solicitation and is strictly prohibited unless permitted as defined by the Regents’ Rules and Regulations. Subjects found soliciting on University of Texas property can receive a criminal trespass warning and will be required to leave University of Texas property immediately or be subject to arrest for criminal trespass.

All fans attending Moody Center events must pass through metal detectors when entering the arena. 

Suspicious activity, disruptive patrons and guest-related problems should be reported to an usher or police officer immediately. Uncooperative patrons showing disregard for other patrons, the arena or the teams may be ejected from the building. Intoxicated fans will not be allowed into the building. An ejected patron will not be allowed to return for the remainder of the game. Re-entry by an ejected patron is grounds for arrest. 

You and your belongings may be searched upon entry into the building. By tendering your ticket and entering the building, you consent to such searches and waive any related claims that you might have against The University of Texas and Moody Center. If you elect not to consent to a search, you will not be allowed into the building. 

To report an incident in your seating area, notify the nearest usher or security guard. After the event, please email info@moodycenteratx.com with all event day-related questions or concerns. 
Seats at Moody Center vary in size, however, most will be approximately between 18″ – 22″.  
Moody Center is able to offer sensory inclusive opportunities for our guests. KultureCity sensory bags containing fidget tools and noise-cancelling headphones, feeling thermometer cards and identification cards that allow arena team members to recognize that the individual has a sensory need, are available for checkout at no cost by leaving an ID at any of our Guest Services Booths.  

Moody Center is a smoke-free venue. Smoking is not permitted in the arena at any time. Additionally, electronic smoking devices are not permitted to be used on premises.

The distribution of banners, booklets, business cards, circulars, commercial advertising, flyers, pamphlets, posters, stickers or any other written, printed and/or painted materials is prohibited on Moody Center premises without the explicit written permission of the event promoter, The University of Texas, or Moody Center Management. This includes the solicitation for donations to charities, teams or clubs, and sale or peddling of any product/food/drink. 
Special announcements on the public address system and scoreboard are limited to medical and police emergencies. Moody Center does not announce or display birthday, anniversary or other personal messages on the public address system or scoreboard. 
Every ticket has a seat or general admission assignment. Patrons with a reserved seat ticket should go to their seat location. General admission patrons should go to their appropriate areas.  
 
Guests are encouraged to stand and cheer on the team or artist during exciting moments and play. However, we ask that you are courteous to everyone around you and do not block the view of other guests. Standing on seats or in aisles is not permitted at any time. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping the aisles clear for other patrons. 
The safety of our guests is of utmost importance. To ensure the safety of our youngest guests, visit one of our Guest Services locations, one on the Main Concourse and one on the H-E-B Suite Level, to participate in our Tag-A-Tot program!

With this program we are able to provide parents and/or guardians an identifying wristband should they become separated with the youngest members of their party.
Tailgating is not permitted on Moody Center property.

To avoid ticket fraud, guests are encouraged to purchase their tickets through authorized outlets only. Moody Center Box Office and Ticketmaster.com are the only authorized vendors for all non-UT events taking place at Moody Center. If you purchase tickets from an unauthorized agent in the secondary market, you may run the risk of purchasing counterfeit or invalid tickets.

No weapons of any kind are permitted on Moody Center property except for uniformed law enforcement working under contract with Moody Center or who are acting within the lawful scope of their professional duties.

Law enforcement officers (LEOs) attending an event as a patron are permitted to carry a weapon in the Facility provided that they are currently in an active-duty status with either a federal agency or a reputable law enforcement agency within the state of Texas. Those law enforcement officers who are retired, in a non-active status, or whose employment or status cannot be verified, or who are employed by an agency outside of the state of Texas, will not be permitted to carry firearms or weapons inside the Facility and no storage options will be provided in such instances.
 
The Campus Carry law (S.B. 11) does not pertain to sporting events on campus. No weapons of any kind are permitted in Texas Athletics sporting events. For full details on Campus Carry, visit https://campuscarry.utexas.edu/
Guests who require additional assistance because of a limitation in mobility can request a wheelchair transport from the entry doors of the arena to their seating location or you may TEXT Guest Services at 512-651-6840 upon arrival to our Accessibility Drop Off for assistance.
 
A Guest Services Host will escort guests to their seat and arrange a pick-up time to escort them for their departure if desired. This service is available on a first come, first served basis and may be requested from any team member at the entry doors. Please note that arena wheelchairs cannot be left with guests during the event.
