OAK VIEW GROUP EXPANDS TEAM FOR MOODY CENTER, AUSTIN’S NEW $338 MILLION SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT ARENA

NICOLE RAYMOND, MOODY CENTER DIRECTOR OF TICKETING

AUSTIN, Texas, February 22, 2021 – Oak View Group (OVG), the global venue development, advisory, and investment company for the sports and live entertainment industries, announced the expansion of its team for Moody Center, a new $338 million, state-of-the-art, privately-funded arena in Austin, Texas.

Joining OVG is Nicole Raymond as director of ticketing. Raymond will assume her new role immediately and will report to Jeff Nickler, senior vice president of OVG Austin and Moody Center general manager, and Casey Sparks, vice president of OVG Austin and Moody Center assistant general manager.

Sparks states, “We are excited to have such a seasoned leader join our team. Nicole comes to us with an expansive amount of experience in the ticketing space having worked for our venue partner, Live Nation/ C3 Presents, along with other major venues around the country. ”

Raymond commented “I’m thrilled to be joining the stellar Oak View Group team in Austin. I’m looking forward to helping build an incredible new venue alongside my friends and former colleagues at Live Nation/C3 Presents. Scheduled to open in early 2022, the 15,000+ seat world-class arena located on The University of Texas at Austin campus will be built for music and host the best and biggest names in the music industry on an annual basis while providing a state-of-the-art venue for top touring concerts and shows. Moody Center will also be home to Texas men’s and women’s basketball teams, graduations, as well as university, high school, and other events for the Austin community.

The Moody Center is privately funded Oak View Group, Live Nation/C3 Presents, University of Texas, and Matthew McConaughey and is set to open April 2022.
